In The Mystique of Leadership, I indicated that dictatorship is not a form of leadership but the absence of it. It is to disregard the spiritual precepts upon which leadership was founded.

If you think holding a position of authority is what makes you a leader, you may never become one. And if you think not holding a position of authority does not make you a leader, you may never become one either.
